To me, selling real estate is more than just a name on a sign or a paycheck. I get the opportunity to meet people every day and see a glimpse of their lives. I get to share in the hopes and dreams they bring down with them when they move here or change up from one Florida home to another. I try to share my enthusiasm and excitement about all the firsts: alligators sunbathing, large exotic birds, turtles, stingrays, dolphins, manatees and all the other Florida living that is so different from Northern living. This job has given me more joy than I ever imagined.
I am a mother of six. Well . . . three are his and three are mine. Three plus three equals six! To date, four grandchildren - two girls and two boys. I am married to a wonderful man who happens to be my business partner and best friend. I am blessed with a large and sometimes crazy life. I would have it no other way!
Tom and I moved to Venice from the Chicago area in 2013. We had spent 4 years researching Florida and Arizona. Florida won out. Ultimately, we wanted what Florida has to offer - water! We wanted to sail, kayak, fish, and boat. We are learning to sail, our kayaks have cracked, but we still fish and boat every chance we get. We explore Florida, too. We have visited St Augustine, the Panhandle, the Keys, the Everglades, Miami, Dunedin and Tarpon Springs and of course -Orlando.
This truly has been a great move.
My business experience is diverse and ultimately has given me the advantage of a range of skills that I utilize in my real estate career. As a Pricing Coordinator for a Fortune 500 Company, I managed the regional pricing of 30,000 products over 120 locations. Communication, database management, and problem-solving were key components of this position. I have a degree in Commercial Photography from Columbia College Chicago. I worked for an aerial photographer, shooting commercial real estate, architectural interiors and managing the work flow of the office. I also owned my own photography studio focusing on portraiture, product, and architecture. I have post graduate education in graphic design. My previous business experience and education have given me the skill set needed to perform the many facets of this job: pricing, marketing, communication, and problem-solving.
Let me assist you in finding your dream home. As a licensed Real Estate Professional, I will work tirelessly to help you navigate through the process of buying or selling your home so the stress and worry are kept to a minimum and the process is a smooth and pleasant experience. This is my goal, mission, and the foundation for my business.
And we might even see an alligator along the way . . .
